Forum Title: line driver Hydro fluid question
question on my line driver hydro fluid... I noticed in the instruction manual the recommended hydro fluid is Mobile 1 15W-50, but on the back of the reservoir it says to fill with something completely different (I took a picture but phone is dead so I will edit this later with that type) I believe it was SAE-30. I thought this was odd, I have gone to two different automotive stores and surprisingly neither had either of these. My questions are... 1. are they both the same type? 2. for those with the line driver what do you use? 3. I was told there is no difference in 15w-50 hydro oil verses regular 15w-50, which to me doesn't make sense. in any case I am a bit concerned the automotive places didn't know more on this, so I thought I would try here before calling Graco tomorrow. thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I noticed that the other day I think the 15w-50 goes into the reservoir and the sae 10-30 is for the engine but wait for someone else to answer or call

I use 15W-50 Mobile1 Synthetic motor oil in the line driver

I have always used 15w-50 for the tank. 10-30 is for the engine. I have never had a hydraulic issue using that oil. I buy it at Wal-mart.
